Srikanth is a graduate student at Columbia University. His interests, passion, and skills are in Neuroscience and AI, which he introduced himself to mainly through outside classroom projects, hackathons, and by working with his friends. He feels that this non-bookish introduction to these fields is what made him all the more engrossed in these subjects, and also built this applied research mindset with which he now approaches and selects projects.

Over the past year, Srikanth has been big on Animal Welfare and has also turned Vegan for the greater part. Along with some of his buddies, he organized regular animal feeding drives when he noticed that most of the stray dogs, cats, cows, around the city feed on garbage and plastics even! Small initiatives like this that included volunteering activities on the weekends, led to him

Co-Founding an Animal Welfare Organization called Dystopia-Animal Welfare that focuses on awareness campaigns, volunteering activities, and technical projects too.

A few things that interest him other than talking about himself in the third person are sports, debating, hackathons, and entrepreneurship stories. Badminton and Football are sports he keeps in touch with, and is a diehard Barca and Messi fan! Avid MUNer and Debater, he has participated and won various accolades throughout his schooling in such events.

His latest interests are in Cognition, and he is fascinated by the brain and how evolutionary learning and related topics work. He firmly believes that to truly contribute and leave a mark in society, he has to one day channel his motivation and calling into pursuing his own dedicated ideas and innovation.
